All host-guest communication should be conducted through Vidle Housing’s secure messaging system. This ensures that all conversations are time-stamped, easily accessible, and protected in the event of a dispute or support case.
To message a guest:
Log into your Host Dashboard
Click on the “Messages” tab
Select the reservation and send your message
We encourage hosts to:
Reply promptly to guest inquiries
Use professional, friendly language
Avoid sharing personal contact information off-platform
Set up automated messages for check-in, mid-stay, and check-out
