Requests to send reservation payments outside of Vidle Housing.

Step 1: Do Not Send Money or Sensitive Information

Do not send money outside of Vidle Housing.

Do not send full banking information.

All reservation-related payments should remain on the Vidle Housing platform.

A host refusing to communicate through Vidle Housing.
Requests for direct payment through Venmo, PayPal, cash, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or another off-platform method.
Conflicting information about property ownership or management.
Contact Vidle Housing Support immediately so the listing can be reviewed.
What If I Notice Unauthorized Payment Activity?
If you believe there has been unauthorized payment activity:
Contact Vidle Housing Support immediately.
Contact your bank or card issuer when appropriate.
Do not share additional financial information with another user.
Save screenshots or documentation of the transaction.
Payment-related investigations may require review by authorized team members with access to relevant payment information.
Will My Report Remain Confidential?
