Save to Outlook

The Scan app’s Outlook integration allows users to save scans as contacts in Microsoft Outlook. After scanning a business card, QR code, NFC card, or event badge, users can save the scanned information as a contact in Outlook.

Once enabled, the “Save in Outlook” option will appear on the Destination screen after viewing the on-device OCR results.

Enabling “Save to Outlook”

To enable the “Save to Outlook” option:

1. Open the App Launcher.

2. Type “Mobile Scan Builder” in the search bar.

3. Select “Mobile Scan Builder - Lightning” from the search results.

4. Go to the “Options” tab.

5. In the Destination Page section, check if the “Hide Save to MS Outlook” option is selected.

• If selected, deselect it.

6. Click “Save” to apply the changes.

Note: For the changes to take effect, Scan app users must refresh the app’s settings or restart the app.
