How to Connect the Bluetooth Thermometer

1️⃣ Install the VMC iPad Kiosk app on your iPad.
2️⃣ Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad.
3️⃣ Turn on the UFR-101 device following the manufacturer's instructions.
4️⃣ Log in to the VMC iPad app using your administrator credentials.
5️⃣ On the VMC iPad app, navigate to Settings > Thermometer.
6️⃣ The device should automatically connect and display "Bluetooth BP Connected".

Enabling Temperature Scanning on Your Kiosk

Once the thermometer is connected, add the temperature scan step to your iPad Kiosk sign-in workflows. Use the dashboard kiosk designer to enable this feature.

Important Device Information

The UFR-101 Bluetooth Thermometer can function independently of VMC software. Similar to badge printers, VMC supports this device for use with its visitor management system but does not manufacture it.

  • The UFR-101 comes in a retail package and includes a third-party app for iOS and Android, allowing for firmware updates and Bluetooth settings adjustments.
