Get Notifications in Microsoft Teams with VMC
Your users can receive real-time notifications directly in Microsoft Teams via the VMC App for Teams. This integration supports alerts for:

How to Set Up the VMC App for Microsoft Teams
1️⃣ Download the VMC Teams Bot

2️⃣ Set Up Microsoft Teams and Install the Bot
To complete this step, you’ll need Administrator access to Microsoft Teams.
Log in to Microsoft Teams
Click Apps in the sidebar
Go to Manage your apps
Click Upload an app
Choose a Team and channel where the bot should be installed
3️⃣ Enable the Teams Integration in VMC
Log in as an Administrator to the VMC web dashboard
Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and go to Settings
Navigate to the Integrations tab
Scroll to Microsoft Teams, click Enable, and log in to your Microsoft account
Accept the requested permissions
Return to Teams and click Configure
Choose the channel where the app was installed
Select your messaging preferences and click Save Changes
🕐 Note: It may take a few minutes to fetch available channels. If the list is empty, refresh the page.
📌 Important Notes
Users must belong to the selected Teams channel to receive notifications
The Teams user email and VMC user email must match
Individual users do not need to install the VMC app themselves
