1️⃣ Set up your account

  • Update your company settings and enable MFA: click your profile icon > go to Settings > update your General Settings and Multi-factor Authentication

  • Enable/Disable company notifications and review notification options: go to the sign-in dashboard (icon on dark sidebar) > click on Notifications > check settings; you can reset all Users' notifications to on/off by toggling the Send SMS/Send Email checkboxes and putting a check on the option to reset Users' notifications.

  • Update your User profile and enable your notifications: click your profile icon > go to My Account > update your User info and User Notification settings

2️⃣ Customize your sign-in point

  • Go to the sign-in dashboard > click Sign In Points > select the sign-in point that you want to modify

  • The iPad sign-in points have a visual designer that is easy to use. To configure a workflow, select a clickable element (button, image, or text) and click on Configure Workflow. You can add elements by clicking the + Add Element button.

  • QR code sign-in points have simpler workflows. To view and edit workflows, click on Workflows on the left side. You can add new workflows by clicking the Add Workflow button.

3️⃣ Set up your iPad sign-in points

  • Download the VMC App: Open the App Store, search for VMC / use this link https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vmc/id1535884912, and install the app.

  • Log into the app using an admin user account.

  • The app should ask for location and camera access; allow these permissions.

  • Optional Printer Setup – No need to adjust settings unless you want to install a printer or switch the app to use the back camera.

  • For QR-code sign-in points, download and print the QR code for visitors to scan and use to sign in.

4️⃣ Add new users

  • Click on the People icon on the dark sidebar.

  • Adding Users Manually – Click the "New User" button in the upper-right corner.

  • You can also invite users or import users using a CSV template.
