Emergency management in the dashboard allows you to efficiently handle and respond to various emergency situations. This feature provides tools to enable emergency alerts, create evacuation lists, and send test alerts to ensure your emergency response system is functional.

1. Enable Emergency Alerts

Description:

  • Functionality: Activate the ability to send emergency alerts via the dashboard, iPad, or mobile app.

  • How to Enable:

    1. Navigate to the Emergency Alerts section in the dashboard.

    2. Toggle the switch to enable or disable emergency alerts.

2. Create Evacuation List

Description:

  • Functionality: Allow managers to mark users as safe during an emergency.

  • How to Enable:

    1. Go to the Evacuation List section in the dashboard.

    2. Toggle the switch to activate or deactivate the evacuation list feature.

3. Send Test Alert

Description:

  • Functionality: Test the emergency alert system by sending a notification to yourself.

  • How to Send Test Alert:

    1. In the Send Test Alert section, click on the provided link.

    2. Verify that the test alert is received on your device.


Standard Response Protocol and Emergency Message Templates

Overview

The dashboard provides a standardized response protocol and customizable message templates for different emergency scenarios. This ensures quick and effective communication during critical situations.

Creating a New Template

  1. Click on Create New Template in the dashboard.

  2. Fill in the required details such as title, status, and message.

  3. Save the template for future use.

Available Templates

1. Threat Outside

  • Status: Lockout

  • Message: "Lockout! Secure the perimeter!"

2. Threat Inside

  • Status: Lockdown

  • Message: "Lockdown! Locks, Lights, Out of Sight!"

3. Weapon

  • Status: Lockdown

  • Message: "Lockdown! Locks, Lights, Out of Sight!"

4. Bomb

  • Status: Evacuate

  • Message: "Evacuate to sheltered area, shelter for bomb!"

5. Fire Inside

  • Status: Evacuate

  • Message: "Evacuate the building!"
