Vitable is moving to a new TPA, TrueClaim. A TPA Transition Acknowledgment form has been sent to all clients requesting signature acknowledging the change.

Why is Vitable switching TPAs?
By switching TPA’s Vitable will allow our members to have access to a more comprehensive health network First Health. Our new TPA will be TrueClaim.
Did notification of this transition go out?
Yes, notification of the change was sent at least 60 days prior to the transition date. You should have received a form from a vitable email address linking to a Pandadoc page requesting signature as well as a formal announcement email that contained this link again as well as a PDF of the notification to share with your members.
Do I need to sign the TPA Transition Acknowledgment form Vitable sent?
Yes, signature is required.
What plans does this affect?
The only affects MEC, MEC+, and MVP plans as those plans have access to a health network outside of Vitable. Our VPC plan is not affected.
What does this mean for your employees?
Your employees now have access to a more comprehensive health network. This means that there are more providers available for visits.
When does the transition take place?
The new TPA partnership will be in full effect as of 1/1/2026. MVP plans, dental plan, and vision plans will move to TrueClaim to 10/1/2025.
Will anything about the plan change for my employees?
The only thing about the plan that will change is the network they can access. While they were previously on HealthSmart and accessing providers in that network, they can now access an even more comprehensive network with First Health. We anticipate this transition to come with increased access to care, more providers, and appointment availability. Everything else about the plan will remain consistent.
How do my members view what providers are in network for them?
You should have received an email notifying you about this transition, within it there was a pdf document for you to distribute to your members that included material on how to view providers.

Will my employee experience any changes in plan offerings or copays?
No, nothing with change about the plan except for the network.
