Reporting on Value Trackers - Video Tutorial:

Being able to track any type of value is key and was something customers wanted us to address as part of the re-imagining of value trackers. You will notice the value trackers reporting has changed slightly and before building VT widgets, you will be prompted to pick which version of trackers you would like to use, latest or legacy.

Note: You can combine new value tracker widgets and legacy widgets on the same dashboard but please note the data from the two versions cannot be cumulated in one widget.

One other important highlight of the new value trackers is privacy. For example, private value trackers are completely hidden from the supplier view of the dashboards you share with them or the dashboards they create.

Some other key points and changes in terms of viewing the information in the widgets:

Data
- The value tracker widget will always display the most recent data that was inputted into a value tracker of that type.
- If multiple value trackers have data inputted on the most recent date, the combined data will be displayed in the widget.
- When opening the chart in the widget, the user can see every data point added to a value tracker of this type (where multiple data entries occur on the same day across value trackers, this is cumulated).

End Targets
- If every value tracker of a specific type has an inputted ‘End Target’, the combined end targets of all trackers within this type will be displayed in the widget.
- If some, but not all, value trackers of a specific type have an inputted ‘End Target’, this will not be displayed in the widget.
- If no value trackers of a specific type have an inputted ‘End Target’, this will not be displayed in the widget.
- If a combined end target is displayed in the widget, this will not be plotted on the chart as it is not plausible to combine different end target due dates.

Data point targets

- If every data point in every value tracker of the same type has an attached target, the combined targets will be displayed alongside the combined data for each point in the widget chart.
- If any data points are missing an attached target, no targets will be displayed in the widget chart.
