Adding & Managing Value Trackers - Video Tutorial:

Step-by-step instructions

Adding a value tracker to your project has never been easier. As a first step, open the project you wish to track the value of, then open the Value Tracker tab and click on Add Value Tracker.

The following pop-up will prompt you to pick from the available value trackers configured by your company admin. As your value tracker organisation library evolves, you will see more results than displayed in the example below. Should you wish more value trackers than what what your company admin has made available already, we would recommend getting in touch with them to expand the list of selectable value trackers for you.

Once you have made your selection, on the following screen you will be asked to enter an end target (mandatory) and a due date for when this can be achieved by, which can be earlier or later than the project end date.

After your value tracker is created, it will have no data. To manage it and add data, click Manage Tracker.

As you Add more data to your tracker, the chart will adapt accordingly to reflect the changes in targets and result. You can select whichever date you want to create an entry for or add new targets and results for certain reporting periods. Each value tracker also has an activity log associated, in which all entries are audited.

In a Public value tracker, both the customer and supplier side of the project team will be notified regarding updates/changes relating to the value tracker with in-app notifications (bell icon).

All value tracker activity is recorded in the value tracker activity log as shown in the image above but it will also be displayed in the project activity log and the relationship activity log so everyone on both sides of the relationship can see what is going on.

Note: Private value trackers are only visible by users in the customer's organisation and only the customer side of the project team will be notified regarding updates/changes relating to the value tracker. In Reporting, these will not be visible to the supplier and the shared activity spaces will not be populated either.
