iOS 26: "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Read & Speak" > "Voices" > open the language you want to use, then download the voice you want.
iOS 17-18: "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Spoken Content" > "Voices" > open the language you want to use, then download the voice you want.
Download an "Enhanced" or "Premium" voice. Premium may be available depending on the language.
Download high-quality voices in iOS
Open the Settings app and search for "Voices" at the top of the screen.
Open "Voices" from the search results.
Open the language you want to use, then download an Enhanced or Premium voice (cloud icon).
Select the downloaded voice in Voicepaper
On the reading list screen, tap the Voice button at the bottom left.
In Voice Settings, tap Choose Voice.
Select the language you want to use (for example, English).
After high-quality voices are downloaded, you can choose the reading voice you want to use.
