In Voicepaper, “Voice Language” controls how the reading language is chosen. Use “Detect language from text” to let Voicepaper analyze the text, select one language to fix it, or select two or more languages to switch only among those languages.
Open Voice Settings
On the reading list, tap the voice button (waveform icon) at the bottom left to open “Voice Settings”.
Open Voice Language
In “Voice Settings”, tap “Voice Language”. The current setting is shown on the right.
Detect language from text
Select “Detect language from text”. This is the current default. Voicepaper decides the reading language from the text, so you do not need to select every language.
Fix one language
Select only one language, for example “Japanese”. In “Voice Settings”, the setting is shown as “Fixed: Japanese”.
Switch only among selected languages
Select two or more languages. For example, selecting “Japanese” and “English” shows “Auto: Japanese,English”; Voicepaper switches only among those selected languages.
