AI Voice uses credits when generating (loading) audio.
Credit Usage Guide
ChatGPT voices: about 24 credits/min (based on audio duration)
Grok voices: about 10–24 credits/min (based on character count)
Grok is billed by character count. Languages such as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean can cost far less than ChatGPT.
What Does Not Use Credits
Repeat playback of loaded audio (it is cached, so you can listen as many times as you like for free)
Create Audio File (the loaded AI voice audio is reused, so there is no extra cost)

When Credits Are Used Again
Reloading after editing the text (the changed parts are regenerated)
Regenerating audio, for example after registering a pronunciation
Checking Your Remaining Credits
Tap the Voice button at the bottom of the screen, open Voice Settings > AI Voice, and check the Usage section at the bottom.
Monthly Renewal
Credits reset every month with your plan's new allowance.
Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
