Use Markers

Use markers to highlight words you want to remember. Long-press text to add a marker, then adjust how markers appear and how they are read aloud from Marker Settings.

Add a marker

Open a text and long-press the word you want to mark.

Tap Marker.

The selected word is marked.

Change marker settings

Tap the marker button in the top right to open Marker Settings.

Open Marker Color and choose a color.

Turn on Hide to hide only the marked parts.

Turn on Hide (Show After Playback) to show marked parts after playback.

Turn on Skip Marker Text to skip marked parts during speech.

Read only marked text

Tap the marker button in the top right to open Marker Settings. Turn on Read Marker Text Only.

When playback starts, Voicepaper reads each marked part in order and stops after the last marker. If the text or playlist is set to repeat, only the marked parts repeat.

Delete markers

Long-press a marker and delete the selected marker. To remove all markers in the current text, open Marker Settings and tap Delete All.
