Personalising your Volunteero Staff management dashboard and the Volunteero app with your organisation's branding has never been easier. In this article, we'll cover all the areas on Volunteero that you can personalise with Custom Branding.

Please note that Branding changes are applied to everyone in your organisation when using the management dashboard
Organisation's logo
Click into the organisation tab within your system settings to add a logo.
This is the main logo for your account, which will be visible to prospective volunteers (via opportunities) and current volunteers within the app.
The main logo from your system settings will be visible to your Volunteers using the Volunteero app.
There is no set size specification for this logo, but we do recommend using a square logo as this will be easily re-sized when uploading into your account.
In this section, you can also add your organisational information, contact details and social media handles. Read our guide on completing the settings here.
Custom Branding
Unique Organisation URL
Your own organisational search board that allows people to find and apply only for your published opportunities.
Organisations can customise their unique Public search board URL within Volunteero to further personalise the volunteer recruitment experience.
Firstly, head to your settings page (bottom left) in the management dashboard.
The 'organisation' tab houses the section for customising the Public ID URL.
Edit this public ID to personalise this URL; most organisations tend to opt for their organisation's name, but do feel free to get creative!
As always, don't forget to click 'apply changes' to ensure this change is actioned within your account!
Once you've said your public ID, your public opportunities search board link will reflect the changes, just like the example below.
Find your shareable search board URL within the opportunities tab under the button 'publishing info' at the top right.
Custom Branding
Custom branding colours in the management dashboard can carry through into primary action buttons and some text within the Staff management dashboard and Volunteero app.
The default colour will be Volunteero purple, but you can update this to your organisation's own hex code colouring to get an exact match!
Please note that any changes made to branding are applied to everyone in your organisation when using the management dashboard and also affect the Volunteero app.
Make sure you check out the app preview and be mindful of the accessibility score when selecting a colour for your buttons.
If the colour you select has a 'poor' accessibility score, then we recommend optimising for accessibility. This will select the closest accessible colour to the one you originally chose.
Some other buttons and colouring cannot be currently changed.
Once you're happy with your customisation, don't forget to click 'apply changes'.
See how your unique URL looks in the opportunities section, and use this link to direct people to your opportunities search board!
Staff Dashboard Logo
Upload a logo to the staff management dashboard in the top left of your screen.
We recommend making sure that your logo is landscape, good quality and has a transparent background.
Hover over the Volunteero logo
Click the upload arrow
Upload your image
Resize and confirm
Please note: this logo is not visible on the Volunteero app. Only the one from your system settings can be viewed by Volunteers on the app.
This logo will pull through into any QR codes generated by survey campaigns, which can personalise that drive for getting responses to surveys!
Personal UI Settings
Update your own personal view in your profile section.
Click on your name (top of the dashboard) and select UI settings.
Here you can apply dark mode and update some other preferences, including distance format, time zone and currency format.
