Equals Money Voly Accounts

By using our Voly Money accounts, you will be able to;

• Pay invoices in multiple currencies

• Pay individuals

• Load your Voly Mastercards

• View live balances

This article will cover all aspects of the Voly Money Account and how you will use it for your accounts and reporting.


Payment Fees and Limits

For more information about fees, payment types and cut-off times, go to Support on the sidebar and click on ‘Fees and limits’ and ‘Payment cut-off schedules’.


Equals Money Voly Account Currencies

Below is the list of currencies you can have created under your Equals Money Voly Account.

Sending funds to your Voly Money account (Funding Details)

1. To find your Voly Money account bank details, go to Banking and click on the Voly Money account currency you wish to view funding details for.

2. In the Voly Money account, click on ‘Funding Details’ at the top right-hand corner.

3. These are the bank details you will use to send funds to your Voly Money account (by bank transfer). For your Voly Money Account, you will have one set of funding details for the IBAN and SWIFT. However, if you choose to fund the account in GBP, the sort code and account number will also be displayed.

When selecting funding details, a drop-down menu will be available to choose the currency in which you want to fund the account.

Please note: the load fee will be automatically deducted from the funds when the money is deposited into the Voly Money account and will appear as a bank fee on your statement.


Processing funds in your Voly Money account

1. When the funds land in your Voly Money account (See in ‘Banking’> Voly Money Accounts), your available balance will change.

2. Once the transaction appears in your Unprocessed Items, you will need to process the transaction and record where the money came from.

  • Firstly, you will need to expand the Voly Money Account to show all your currencies. To do this, you will click on the arrow next to the account name, which will display all currencies in your Voly Money Account.

  • Click on the number of Unprocessed Items in the currency the account was funded in to get to the transaction.

3. On the next screen, click on ‘Process’ alongside the transaction.

4. Select the bank account you have sent the funds from. Then, click ‘Process’.

The transaction has now been recorded in your Voly Money account and the account where the funds are coming from.

Please Note: You might need to create a bank account on the Banking page first.


Return funds

  1. Add the Bank account as a beneficiary:

• Go to Banking > Click on the relevant Bank account.

• In the Bank account, click ‘Create Beneficiary’. Enter the bank account details, then click ‘Save Beneficiary’.

2. Then, return the funds:

• The beneficiary must be created first. Once created, go to your Voly Money account (in Banking). Then, click on ‘Return funds’ in the right-hand corner.

• Select the Bank account you wish to return the funds to and enter the amount to be returned. Click ‘Return Funds’.

• The payment is now ready for execution. Go to Approvals to execute it.


Transfers of Funds

You are now able to move funds between currencies already created on the Voly Money Account.

Please note: This feature is only available on request from our Treasury Team @treasury@voly.co.uk

To do this, you will need to go to the Banking Page and then select the Voly Money Account currency you wish to transfer the funds from.

At the top of the account page, you will need to select the transfer funds button.

Choose from the drop-down box which account you would like to transfer the funds into.

Type in the amount you wish to transfer and enter the security code sent via SMS/WhatsApp to authorise the transfer.

The transfer will now show in your available balance once completed and reflected in your statement balance within 24 hours.

Please make sure you select the amount of currency you wish to sell. I.e., you want to sell €10k and buy USD. Or you are entering the amount of a currency you wish to buy. I.e., you want to be $10k worth of EUR.

If the currency you wish to transfer the funds into is not available, please get in contact with the Voly Team, and we can add this to your account if it is a currency we support.


Equals Money Account Statements

Within the Voly Platform, you can view/download the Equals Account Statement for each of your Currencies.

To find this statement, you will click into the Voly Money Summary Tile on your homepage dashboard.

Once in the Voly Money Summary, you will see all of your Multi Currency account balances. Next to the statement balance of each currency, you will be able to select the arrow, and this will take you into the currency statement.

Here, all your transactions in the currency account will be listed. At the bottom of the page, you will see the option to download this statement as a PDF file. Alternatively, you can download all the account statements as a ZIP File when you are in the Voly Money Account.
