Sourcing of candidates.

Well, kinda. How else would you vouch for them? 🤓

But snarkiness aside, it has been great to see that candidates have been equally enthused when a peripheral acquaintance considered them for an opportunity as when the relationship has been close.

How well you need to know them is up to you, but in our experience, they should at least recognise your name when they see it. We've had a lot of candidates being hired because a distant acquaintance referred them because they'd heard praise via word-of-mouth, and we've had people getting hired because a previous direct manager vouched for them.

So go ahead, vouch for your entire network, but stay clear of awkward moments by avoiding using Vouch for completely cold outreach 😁
