Add a Hotspot to a 360 Slide [Beta]

Learn how to add and customize Location, Information, and 360 Image Hotspots in a 360 Slide.

Overview

This article explains how to add and configure Hotspots on a 360 Slide.

Hotspots are interactive points that guide viewers through a scene. Each Hotspot can link to another 360 image, display additional information, or navigate to a specific location.

Note: Only files with Accepted status appear in the asset list when building a 360 Slide. If a photo is missing, check its status on the Files page. Learn more about your File Status.


Types of Hotspots

Type

Description

Location

Adds a pin with a custom title. Use to identify an area or object in the scene.

Information

Displays a title and information icon. When clicked, opens an attached description.

360

Displays a title and image icon. When clicked, opens a linked 360 image. Read Create and Customize 360 Slides for customization options.


Step by Step Instructions

  1. Open your 360 Slide

  2. Click Edit 360 Slide

  3. In the top right corner of the Objects in Model panel, click the Hotspot icon

  4. Move your cursor to the location where you want to place the Hotspot

  5. Left-click to pin the Hotspot

  6. A Hotspot icon will appear in the scene, and the Hotspot settings panel will open:

    • Select the type of Hotspot from the dropdown menu

    • Customize the Hotspot as needed, based on the type

  7. Click Save
