VRTO contains a full Education Hub — a library of short, practical content on training, nutrition, mindset, and how to get the most from the app. It's built and curated by Coach Mark Carroll and Lauren Simpson, and it's one of the most underused features in the platform.
What's in the Education Hub
Content in the Education Hub is organised into four topic areas:
Training
Nutrition
Tutorials
Getting Started
Mindset & Consistency (coming soon)
Articles and videos are tagged by topic and by phase relevance — so you can filter for content that's specifically applicable to someone in a CUT phase, a BUILD phase, or focusing on a particular training goal.
How to find it
The Education Hub is accessible from the main navigation bar located at the bottom of your VRTO app. From there you can browse by topic, search or filter to find specific articles.
When to use it
The Education Hub is most valuable at specific moments in your journey:
When you want to change something but aren't sure if you should — reading about why your current approach is structured the way it is often answers the question
When a coaching signal appears in your weekly report — related content for that signal type will often be surfaced
When you're transitioning between phases — the Education Hub contains specific content on reverse dieting, building phases, and how to approach each transition
When a feature in the app doesn't make sense — the app guides section explains the logic behind the workout player, the check-in system, and the Goal Review System in plain language
ℹ️ The principle behind education in VRTO is that it should precede decisions, not follow them. If you're about to make a change to your plan, check the Education Hub first. The answer to 'should I change X' is often already there. |
Videos in the Education Hub
Key features and concepts in VRTO have short explainer videos available in the Education Hub. These cover the workout player, the weekly check-in, steps tracking, Express Your Workout™, and the nutrition logging flow. Each video is under 2 minutes.
💡 Start with one article or video in your first two weeks, not ten. The Education Hub is most useful when you're looking for a specific answer, not when you're trying to consume everything at once. |
