Favourites, Planning Ahead & Copying Meals

Written by Gina

Consistent nutrition logging gets significantly easier once you have a set of tools working for your real eating patterns. These three features are designed to reduce the daily friction of keeping your food diary up to date.

Favourites

Any ingredient, food, or recipe you use regularly can be saved to a favourites list. Once saved, it appears in a separate section — so adding it to your diary takes one tap instead of a full search.

To save a favourite: find the food or recipe in your diary or search results, tap the heart icon, and it's added to your favourites section. You can manage and remove favourites from the favourites section in your Nutrition Hub.

This is the single most effective thing you can do to make food logging less labour-intensive. Most people eat a rotation of 15–20 foods regularly. Save those foods in your first week and your logging time drops dramatically.

Planning ahead

You can add foods or recipes to your diary for future days — not just today. This means you can set up tomorrow's meals tonight, plan your whole week on a Sunday, or build out days when you know your eating will be structured in advance.

Planned foods don't count toward your Logged totals until you mark them as eaten. So planning ahead gives you a preview of how your intake will track against your Target — without it affecting your adherence data until you actually eat.

💡 Planning the next day the night before takes about 3 minutes and removes one of the most common points of friction in nutrition logging — having to remember what you ate after the fact.

Duplicate & Copy

If you eat the same meal on multiple days — the same breakfast most mornings, the same lunch prep through the week — you can copy that meal across multiple days at once rather than re-entering it each time.

To copy an ingredient or recipe: tap the 3 dots next to the logged item, select "Repeat" toggle the repeat ingredient box to yes and select what days of the week you'd like it repeated on and for how many weeks.

Custom recipes

You can create your own recipes from a group of ingredients and save them with a name, serving size, and macro total. Once saved, a custom recipe appears in your My Recipe list and can be added to your diary like any other food.

To create a custom recipe: add a group of 2 or more ingredients to a meal in your diary, then tap "Make a Recipe?" Name it, give it a picture, set your serving size, and save it. It's now available any time you want to log that meal again.
