Anti-duplication control within a team helps prevent the same prospect from being imported by multiple team members. However, it is possible to allow certain members to import the same prospects.
Permissions
Do not allow a member to import duplicates
To avoid duplicate imports in a team, the captain must:
Go to the "Team" tab.
Click the dropdown menu in the "Role" column, to the right of the concerned member.
Select "✨ Custom" and disable "Import with team duplicates".
Allow a member to import duplicates
For team members to import the same prospects:
The captain must allow the member to import team duplicates.
Then, members will be able to choose to deactivate anti-duplication security when they import.
Activate anti-duplication security before importing
From LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter Lite
To activate Team duplicate security:
From the import window, click the "⚙️" settings icon.
Enable the Team duplicate security.
When this option is enabled, you will not be able to import a prospect already present in another member's list.
During a CSV import
To activate Team duplicate security:
Go to your prospect list.
Click on Import > Import via CSV file.
Enable the Team duplicate security.
Managing Team duplicates
By default, duplicates automatically appear in the "Team" tab, in the "Duplicates" section.
1️⃣ Recommended: Choose a default member as "recommended" where duplicates will be imported.
2️⃣ Keep everything as recommended: The first member to import the prospect or use the prospect in a campaign will keep the prospect.
3️⃣ Update: Manually choose who will keep the duplicates, in batches of 20 prospects.
