LinkedIn Connection: Infinite Login

Updated over a month ago

What is the Infinite Login feature?

Infinite Login allows you to connect your LinkedIn account to Waalaxy using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
This secure method prevents unexpected disconnections and helps you keep your automation running without having to regularly check your connection.

💡 Note: Two-Factor Authentication is required to enable Infinite Login.

How to enable Infinite Login?

To use Infinite Login, you must:

  • Use an authentication app (not SMS verification).

  • Have your 2FA secret key, provided by LinkedIn when you activate Two-Factor Authentication.

How does it work?

In the “Sync Your LinkedIn Account” window, you can enable Infinite Login (2FA).

Click the button “Switch to Infinite Login (2FA)”.

A new window will open with two sections:

  1. I don't have 2FA enabled on LinkedIn (4 min)

  2. I already have 2FA enabled on LinkedIn

Step 1: Enable Two-Factor Authentication on LinkedIn

  1. Log in to your LinkedIn account.

  2. Click your profile photo (top right), then open “Settings & Privacy.”

  3. Go to “Sign in & security”, then click “Two-step verification” at the bottom. Enable this option.

  4. Click “Set up”, then choose Authentication app as your preferred method.

  5. Click “Continue”, then enter your LinkedIn password.

  6. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email to activate Two-Factor Authentication.

  1. Install Microsoft Authenticator or another authentication app of your choice on your smartphone.

  2. Add your LinkedIn account in the app by selecting “Add new account”, then click “Continue.”

  3. Scan the QR code, enter the 6-digit code generated by the app, and confirm.

  4. LinkedIn Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled ✅

  2. Open “Sign in & security,” then select “Two-step verification.”
