🤓 Prerequisites
Before getting started, make sure you have the following:
An active N8N account (a paid plan is required for certain features)
An Advanced or Business paid Waalaxy subscription is necessary for API Integration.
Your Waalaxy API Key
A LinkedIn Profile URL is required for every prospect import.
How to connect n8n with Waalaxy?
Step 1 - Getting ready
To start your setup, you first must generate a unique API key within your Waalaxy account.
Click the Gear Icon (Settings) > Integrations.
Click the blue + Create new API key button.
Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "n8n Integration") and click Generate key.
Click Copy and close. Store this key securely; you will need it to authenticate the Zapier action.

Step 2 - Install and Configure the Waalaxy Node
Open your workflow in the n8n Editor. As you are starting from scratch, you’ll see an empty canvas prompting you to add your first step.
In the side panel that will open, select Trigger manually.
Click on the “+” connector next to “When clicking ‘Execute workflow’”. This opens the node selection panel.
Click inside the search bar and type “Waalaxy”.
Select Waalaxy.
Click on the Install node orange button in the "Node details" windown.
Click on the Import module
In the "Credential to connect with" field, click Create New Credential.
Paste your API Key into the Access Token field.
Save and close the credential window.
In the Access Token field, paste your Waalaxy API key you generated earlier within Waalaxy.
Click on Save and close that window with the cross in the top-right corner of this window.
Step 3: Configure the required fields for the import into Waalaxy
In the Prospect List dropdown, select the list where you want the prospect to be added (e.g., Test Integrations).
In the Campaign dropdown, choose the campaign where the prospect should be enrolled (e.g., Invitation + 2 Messages #3). This step is optional.
In the prospects management section
Move Existing Prospects
Toggle ON (green) if you want prospects already in your Waalaxy account to be moved from the original list to the newly selected list.
Toggle OFF if you don’t want them moved.
Allow Team Duplicates
Toggle ON (green) if you want the prospect to be imported even if a teammate already has this prospect in Waalaxy.
Toggle OFF to prevent team duplicates.
Add Existing Prospects To Campaign
Toggle ON (green) if you want prospects already in your Waalaxy account to be added into a campaign
Toggle OFF if you do not want them to be added to the campaign.
In the LinkedIn URL field drag and drop the LinkedIn URL of the prospect
Click on execute step
