Queue & Service Type Settings: Categories

Overview

Categories allow you to group together service types at a location for easier navigation on the customer site and kiosks. They can be particularly useful if you have many service types that would otherwise require the customer scroll through a long list. Categories may be applied to joining queues and/or booking appointments. Categories may be applied to service types on the service type configuration page.

Category List Page

Create a New Category

To create a new category, select the Add button.


Modify an Existing Category

To edit an existing category, select pencil icon to enter the category configuration page. To delete an existing category, select the trash can icon.


Category Configuration Page

Name: Enter a name for the category. Duplicate names are not allowed within a location.

Description: Enter a description for the category that may be displayed underneath the category name on the customer site and kiosks.

Icon: You may assign an icon to the category by selecting the Choose button or change an existing icon by selecting the Change button. You may also enter a HEX code to change the icon color.
