Pets are added to a client, so start from the client's profile. Clients who use the Walkies Journal app can add their own pets too.
Add a pet
Tap Clients and choose the client.
In Pets, tap Add pet.
Add their name. That's all you need to save them.
Choose the Type. It starts as Dog, and there's also Small dog, Large dog, Puppy, Cat, Pig, Bird, Fish, Small pet, Reptile, Horse and Other.
Add their breed and date of birth.
Add anything else you'd like to keep (see below).
Tap the ✓ to save.
What else you can add
A photo, a description and their weight.
Lead (leash), sex, neutered or spayed, microchip and microchip ID, house trained, marks, how friendly they are with dogs, cats and children, and their energy level.
Food schedule, what they're like left alone, reactivity, vet details, medical information, vaccinations and any other notes.
To keep proper vaccination records with due dates, open the pet after saving and tap Add vaccination.
Good to know
A pet's date of birth adds their birthday to your schedule.
