A travel buffer stops clients booking you back to back. It leaves a gap, in minutes, around the appointments you already have.
Add a travel buffer
From Home, tap the menu button in the top right.
Scroll down and tap Availability and hours. On iPad, it's in the sidebar under Company.
Make sure Check availability is on. The travel buffer only shows, and only applies, while it's on.
Tap Travel buffer and enter the minutes you need between appointments.
Close the keyboard. It saves by itself, so there's no need to tap the ✓.
How it works
Clients can't book a time that starts or ends within that many minutes of an appointment you already have.
It's one gap between two appointments. With a 15 minute buffer and a walk that ends at 10:00 AM, the next time a client can book is 10:15 AM.
You can set anything from 0 to 240 minutes. Set it back to 0 to turn it off.
Good to know
The buffer only affects what clients can book. You can still book appointments back to back yourself.
It counts requests you haven't answered yet, as well as confirmed appointments and Busy or Holiday time.
It isn't used for appointment windows. See How do I set up appointment windows?
To set the hours clients can book, see How do I set my availability and working hours?
