Here's how to tick off a checklist and add notes during or at the end of a walk or visit. Your client sees them on the report.
During the visit
Tap the Notes button at the bottom of the walk or visit screen.
Add Overall notes, and notes for each pet.
Tap checklist items to tick them off.
Tap the ✓ to save.
When you end
The same notes and checklist are on the Summary screen when you tap End. Anything you added earlier is already there.
Where checklists come from
Checklists you've set up are added automatically when the walk or visit starts: ones for the client, ones for each pet, and ones for everyone. To add or remove items on a visit, tap ... > Add/remove checklist items. See How do I add a checklist?
What your client sees
Your notes and ticked items appear on the report in the Walkies Journal app.
On the report card picture, ticked items show a green tick and unticked ones a grey cross.
Good to know
Nothing forces you to tick every item.
On iPad, or a phone in landscape, each pet's checklist and notes are on its card on the walk screen too.
