Here's how to add a business expense, like dog treats, fuel or insurance, so it's in your profit and loss.
Add an expense
Tap the menu button on Home. On iPad, it's in the sidebar.
Under Finance, tap Expenses.
Tap + at the top.
Enter the Vendor, like the shop's name, and the Amount.
Under Details, pick a Category and check the Date.
Add Notes if you like, and tap Add attachment to add photos of the receipt.
Tap the ✓ to save.
The details
Category: Fuel, Mileage, Pet supplies, Insurance, Vehicle maintenance, Marketing, Office supplies, Vet supplies, Software, Equipment, Training or Other.
Team member: who the expense is for. It's you to start with. Only admins and sub-admins see this.
Reimbursed: turn it on once you've paid a team member back, and set the Reimbursed date. Only admins see this.
Attachments: up to 5 photos from your library, like receipts.
A vendor and an amount are both needed to save.
