Email transactional notifications

As a client of a studio that uses Walla, you will always receive email Transactional Notifications. There is no opt out option for email Transactional Notifications. Transactional notifications are essential notifications such as purchase receipts and if your studio has service emails such as booking confirmations and reminders. These are not marketing or promotional messages.

Marketing Updates

These are considered non-essential notifications. They are not strictly Marketing but can range from newsletters to special studio offers. By opting in to Marketing Updates you are allowing the studio to send you these types of emails.

SMS/Text Messages

By enabling SMS/Text Messages you allow the studio to send you Transactional Notifications via text, such as booking reminders. If you are opted-in to Marketing Updates then you will also receive Marketing Updates as texts.

Update your opt-in preferences

Opt-in settings for your studio can be managed by logging into your studio's widget or by logging into the Walla App. Opt-in settings are managed individually for each studio. This means that any changes you make to your preferences only apply to the specific studio's website widget you're using or the studio you've selected in the Walla App.

Via your studio's widget

Change your opt-in settings by logging in to your profile on your studio's website widget:

  1. Select Manage Account

  2. Tap Your Profile from the drop-down menu. Please note how Transactional Updates are unable to be disabled. These are what the studio uses to provide crucial updates on your planned visits and activities.

  3. Enabling Marketing Updates allows for promotional content such as newsletters and special studio offers to be sent to you via email.

  4. Enabling SMS/Text Messages allows for you to receive notifications from the studio via both Email & SMS/Text.

Via the Walla App

  1. From within the Walla app, tap the Account icon located on the bottom right corner of the app

  2. Tap Notification Settings

  3. Enabling Marketing Updates allows for promotional content such as newsletters and special studio offers to be sent to you via email.

  4. Enabling SMS/Text Messages allows for you to receive notifications from the studio via both Email & SMS/Text.
