As a regulated, formal platform in Colombia, this is done only in connection with operations that generate fee invoicing, and it follows the guidelines required by the tax authority.
In simple terms, your information is reported at two different times 👇
1️⃣ Reporting at the time of invoicing
Every time Wallib charges a fee for services provided (for example, platform usage fees), an electronic invoice is issued in your name.
At that point:
The invoice is issued for the corresponding fee.
On that invoice, you appear as the customer, for the invoiced amount.
That information is reported to the DIAN as part of the standard electronic invoicing process.
👉 In other words, who you are and how much you were invoiced in fees is recorded with the DIAN from the moment the invoice is generated.
2️⃣ Reporting in the annual "exógena" information report
In addition to invoice-based reporting, the DIAN requires certain taxpayers (such as companies that issue invoices and handle relevant transactions) to submit annual "información exógena" reports.
At this second point:
Wallib consolidates its customers' and transactions' information for the year.
It reports this again to the DIAN, within the official exógena formats.
This includes, among other things, the amounts associated with invoicing and transactions that must be reported under current regulations.
👉 In other words: The same commercial relationship already reflected in the invoice is reported again in the annual exógena report, in compliance with DIAN requirements.
🧾 What does this mean for you?
This isn't unusual or exclusive to Wallib — it's standard behavior for any formal company that invoices and reports to the DIAN.
The DIAN can see:
That you are a Wallib customer.
What amounts have been invoiced for fees.
