Stay up-to-date with all the events happening at WatersAbove™ Platform from official meetings with WatersAbove™ to those hosted my Moderator Clementine To do this you can add our public Google Calendar to your Google Calendar or Apple Calendar (iCal). Updates sync automatically and I'll drop some tips for those in timezones outside the Primary Eastern Standard Time.
🔑 Setup for Success
• This calendar does not automatically synch from your WatersAbove™ Platform Account, so you choose which email you'd like to use. It does not need to be the same email as your Account with the Platform.
• These meetings will never be hosted in Google Meet, and by RSVPing on the external Calendar, it will not automatically RSVP you to the Event inside the platform.
• There may be restrictions on if the calendar 'Notifications' work, this is not controlled from our end. So you may need to manually set your own reminder notifications.
✅ Step-by-Step
Step 1: Add to Your Google Calendar Open the Calendar Link
This opens our public calendar in your browser.
Sign into your Google Account if prompted
Add to Your Google Calendar:
It should prompt you in a pop-up to Add to Calendar
Our calendar "WatersAbove™ University" appears under Other calendars in your Google Calendar (web, iOS, Android).
Events and updates sync instantly. Toggle it on/off as needed.
Access Google Calendar with a Google account (for personal use) or Google Workspace account (for business use).
Step 2: Customize Notifications Go into the Settings of the WatersAbove™ Calendar to personalize notifications to your preference. This is NOT replacing the notifications we will send out via Discord and Email. You can add customized notifications based on how often, when you want to be reminded about upcoming meetings.
Step 3: Customize Timezone Set Your Timezone: In Google Calendar, go to Settings > Time zone and select your primary timezone (e.g., “America/Los_Angeles” or “Europe/London”). Our events adjust automatically. Show Multiple Timezones: In Settings > Time zone, check “Display secondary time zone” and pick ours (e.g., “America/New_York/EST”) to see event times in both zones side-by-side.
Mobile App: Tap Menu > Settings > General > Use device’s time zone to ensure events match your location, or set a fixed zone manually.

Open Calendar app.
Go to File > New Calendar Subscription.
Paste the iCal URL, click Subscribe.
Name it (e.g., “Program Events”), set auto-refresh (e.g., “Every hour”), and click OK.
On iPhone/iPad:
Go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other.
Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
Paste the iCal URL, tap Next, then Save.
Notes:
Our calendar appears under Subscribed Calendars in Apple Calendar.
Events sync periodically (every few hours; refresh manually by restarting the app if needed).*Updates from our Google Calendar reflect automatically.
Timezone Customization: Verify Timezone: In Apple Calendar, go to Calendar > Preferences > Advanced (Mac) or Settings > Calendar (iOS) and ensure “Turn on time zone support” is enabled. Set your timezone (e.g., “Asia/Tokyo”). Override Event Timezones: If events show the wrong time, right-click the calendar (Mac) or tap it (iOS), select Get Info, and set the calendar’s timezone to ours (e.g., “America/New York/EST”) or your own for consistency. Manual Refresh: To force sync, close and reopen the Calendar app or pull down to refresh (iOS). Notifications: Add alerts via Calendar > Preferences > Alerts (Mac) or per event (iOS) to get reminders in your local time.

Privacy: Public calendars require you to log-in but no one - including watersabovemod@gmaill.com - will not see your details.
Visibility: You’ll see only the events we share publicly; you cannot edit them.
Meeting Links: This reflect the times of Meetings ONLY. This is not how you access the Meetings themselves. All meetings will only be accessible via the WatersAbove™ Platform > OASIS > LIVESTREAM Room.
Unsubscribe: Remove anytime (Google: Settings > Remove; Apple: delete subscription in Settings > Calendar > Accounts).
During Travel: If you travel, enable auto-timezone updates (Google: Settings > Use device time; Apple: Settings > Calendar > Time Zone Override off).
Troubleshooting:
For Apple sync issues, refresh (Mac: View > Refresh; iOS: pull down in Calendar app).
Timezone mismatches? Double-check your device and calendar settings.
