BLOCKED—Inside PORTAL you have the ability to block another member. This will prevent that member from sending a friend requests, viewing each other's profiles or public posts. You can no longer send direct messages.

FOCUSES—Badges that Display your current and primary focuses of using the Platform. Your selections help you connect with other members who have the same Focus by curating your OPEN PORTAL feed.

FRIEND—By sending a friend request and accepting friend requests, you allow those members to view your profile (if it's Private), send Direct Messages (if only allowing DMs from Friends-only), and have that member's posts appear in MY-PORTAL.

MEMBER MAP — Our custom map of member and group locations shared via our secure server and using the Google Maps API

MY-PORTAL (Profile)—A user’s personalized profile with feed of My posts & shared posts (reposts). Your public identity in the app. Shows name, photo, location, tags and interests, badges, links, and your recent activity. Shown in the Member Directory and “My Portal,” with fields you can choose to display or keep private.⁠

PORTAL—Personalized Social Feed based on your sign-up choices, profile settings, friends, groups / forums (including MemberMap subscription). Posting here assigns the post to MY-PORTAL and shows up in OPEN PORTAL (for those who share interests, locations, or if you’re friends) will see it in their feed (or EXPLORE, if your profile is PUBLIC)

PRIMARY FOCUS—The Focus Badge you mark as most important in Edit MY-PORTAL. This Focus Badges is then Display in your profile Banner and next to your name whenever you post in PORTAL.

BIOME—A point on the OASIS OVERVIEW MAP where the user is given two options, two Vistas to choose from.

HALO—The Outer Ring Building as seen in the OVERVIEW MAP of OASIS

OASIS—A curated set of audio/video rooms for meetups and events, functioning as a 24/7 space to gather, join live discussion or co-working sessions alongside other community members

OVERVIEW MAP—The default landing space inside OASIS where members can then navigate through Biomes and Vistas into voice and video spaces. It acts as the lobby for quick orientation and one‑click navigation to rooms. No audio/video can be shared at this level.

STORY—A curated story of the Specific map, biome, or vista that shares the inspiration behind the space as well as the general purpose of the space.

VISTA—The themed scenes in OASIS. Each vista is a POV environment you can jump into from the map or lobby, used for gathering, navigation, and to see where members are congregating. No audio/video can be shared at this level.

ARCHIVE—A library of meeting recordings and coursework (if included in membership). Watch past sessions, revisit materials, and access saved lessons and files for reference and review.
