Note: This article only applies to attaching digital files/links when doing so at the time of adding your product (setting in Basic details - digital product).
Note: You can move to the next stage and add product/service inventory to your shop if you have chosen to attach your digital file/link when adding your inventory.
Remember to save your product by clicking the Save button first though.
Make sure you have added the product by completing the add product/service form and saving it. If you haven’t done this, an error message will appear.
Digital files/links setup forms
Click the 
button to open the Digital files attachment setup form.
Click the 
button to open the Digital links setup form.
Both forms have the same fields, except for
Digital files - you upload the files as downloadable attachments
Digital links - you enter a URL link that directs the buyer to the online product
Select Variant – this field will only be visible if you have linked option values to your product. Select:
All if you want to provide a digital product for all product options; or
each variant and provide the corresponding digital product.
Tip: You can provide both a digital preview and a digital product with your product.
The digital preview allows the buyer to look at your product before purchasing.
The digital product becomes available to the buyer after the purchase.
Attach with existing orders
If you are adding a product for the first time – select No
If you are updating a previously added product with an updated file – select Yes
- save current changes
- reset to the last saved changes
Important: Remember to save your product by clicking the Save button.
Once you have added your product and returned to the Shop Inventory window, you can view all your added products/services by clicking the “My Products” button.
