Yes the pricing may differ depending on when you book onto the trip:
Early Bird - places sold before General Release, given to a select few before general release and will sometimes be discounted. Booking during the Early Bird release is the best way to secure the lowest base price for your trip.
General Release - initial places sold at normal price after the scheduled release date
Second Release - additional places secured for the trip, the cost of these places can sometimes be higher. This is usually because accommodation costs have increased since the accommodation was originally secured for the Early Bird and General Releases.
During the General Release, base prices are often the same as Early Bird prices, but later releases may be priced higher.

The accommodation itself is typically the same standard and quality, and you'll still be able to stay with your friends. The only difference is that those who book in a later release may pay a higher price than those who booked earlier.
