Special Requests before Rooming allocations
We cannot take any requests for rooming allocation prior to the allocation going live. Should you wish to remain as a group in one room, but there aren't enough beds available (e.g., the larger rooms have been fully booked, or some beds filled with other passengers) we cannot move passengers to other rooms without their permission. You may need to find more than one available room to share between your group.
Special Requests after Rooming allocations
As we confirm the exact number of beds for the exact number of passengers, we do not have spare beds to be able to move people around, however, we can look at swapping your rooming allocation.
To do this, you would need to find someone willing to swap with you and we would require email confirmation from them that they are happy with the swap.
When making any changes, we do need to take into consideration the other passengers in the rooms as well, so it may not always be possible to process the change, but we will do our best to allocate you where you want to be.
Unauthorised room swaps are NOT permitted, and if you are swapping rooms with another passenger, you need to ensure you have informed NUCO of this so we can update both of your bookings. This is to ensure the information we have is accurate and to avoid issues with the return of your damage deposit.
It's also worth noting there will be a difference in price if you are swapping to a different level of accommodation.
Special Requests for someone in a different level of accommodation
Unfortunately, as different accommodation tiers are located across different residences, sharing a room with someone who has booked a different accommodation tier isn't possible. If you didn't manage to get the accommodation tier you'd prefer, you can join the waiting list for that tier. Depending on availability, your friends may also be able to change to the tier you are currently in.
