Keeping track of all of your eBookings can be difficult, especially if you’re making them frequently. With WebCargo’s eBooking notification tool, you can choose when to be notified about your eBookings via email.
Find out in this article how you can use this.
There are a number of places where you can activate or deactivate notifications. The first is in the process of making an eBooking on the review and book page. Once you have selected your rate, you’ll need to check your details before confirming the eBooking.
Towards the bottom of the page, you’ll see an option to Set notifications for this booking. Click on this and another pop-up will appear where you can set how you’d like to be notified and also what you’d like to be notified about.
You can also set notifications for eBookings by clicking on the My eBookings tab and finding an eBooking which is still active. Click on the three horizontal dots to the right-hand side of the eBooking, then click on Notifications.
Important: any notifications you enable will be for the individual eBooking and will not affect others. If you want to set notifications for other eBookings, you’ll need to do this one by one. Read on to find out how.
Setting your notification preferences
You can decide to opt-in to receive notifications via email about your eBooking. Then, choose to both receive emails to the address associated with the logged-in user’s account, while also adding other parties to receive emails whenever there is an update with the eBooking.
Specify the other email address you want to send updates to, and also add more email addresses by clicking on Add another email.
Important: All notifications are sent by email. If you turn email notifications off, all boxes will subsequently grey out, and you won’t receive any updates about your eBooking.
Select to get notified about the status of your eBookings, Load information and Rate changes. Once you’ve made any changes, click Save. You’ll receive an on-screen notification stating that your preferences have been saved.
Bear in mind that if later you decide to turn off notifications, the GSA and IATA owner will still be notified.
