New contact card/person card: Introduction

Here we will take you through the persons/contact card in webCRM

Updated over a week ago

Welcome to the new layout for the contact card/person view in webCRM. You know the layout from the pipeline and order view, the new front page and the new activity view, and this view also comes with similar functionalities.

In the top right corner you will see some buttons, that you know from the other entities:

  1. By clicking on this icon, you can see links related to this person, like their LinkedIn profil or other things you might link to. The links can be created here.

  2. Here you can mark the person as a favorite, and you will then be able to access it from your favorites menu.
    Read more about favorites here.

  3. Here you can subscribe to this person and get a notification when something is changed on this specific person

  4. The Actions button works like on the other entities in the system. Here you can copy and merge, while also edit the setup and delete the person.

  5. Here you save the changes you have made on this page.

In the right side of the contact card you will see the sidebar. Here you can find contact information (email address, phone numbers) and other relevant information like address and company name.

  1. The person's status will be shown here.

  2. By clicking on the organisation name you will go to the organisation/company card itself.

  3. By clicking on the address you will open the organisation's location on a map

  4. The first email you can click on will open a new email outside of webCRM, for example in Outlook.

  5. The phone numbers can be clicked on and you can call directly from webCRM if you have IP telephony integrated.

  6. The second email button opens a new email inside off webCRM. If you want to register emails in webCRM, we recommend you send them from here.

  7. Send an SMS directly from the contact card (if you have an SMS integration).

  8. The third email button creates the person as a contact in your Outlook.

  9. Status on the contact which is also show in number 1. Here you can however change the status.

  10. Here you can see the contacts job title, and you can also change that here.

On the contact card you have two tabs:

  1. The Fields tab: Here you find information about the contact person. It could be name, address, phone number and custom fields like newsletter sign ups. You can edit these fields directly without having to click edit first.

The fields on this tab can be set up to match your needs and wishes.

  2. On the Details tab you can see the lists over the different entitites that are related to this specific contact.
In the example below you can see activities, support cases, opportunities and meetings, deliveries and products, where this contact is linked.

On every entity you can create a new one by clicking on "+" in the top right corner.

In the log you can see what has been changed on the contact, who has made the changes and when.

You can also see the Organisation log (history) on the second tab to see everything that has happened on the organisation.
