Have questions about getting started with the Wello App?

Updated over a week ago

What is Wello, and how does it work?

Wello is a modern remittance platform that allows you to transfer money to over 100 countries. Depending on your location, you can transfer funds via:

  • Bank transfer

  • e-Wallets

  • Mobile money payments

  • Visa, Mastercard

  • Apple Pay

Wello uses blockchain and stablecoins to make sending money worldwide fast and affordable. Your balance is kept in stablecoins, so its value stays stable while you transfer money easily.

You’ll always see your balance and transactions in both stablecoin and your chosen local currency. Because Wello uses digital currency, you can send money anywhere in the world, regardless of currency differences

Can Wello send money to recipients in countries that do not have traditional banking systems?

YES, they can receive money as long as they have a device and internet. BUT NO IF their country does not support bank withdrawals or local cash-out methods, they can’t withdraw the money. They can only keep and use it inside Wello.

What can I use Wello for?

With Wello, you can change crypto to local money, local money to crypto, and send crypto instantly to Wello users.

  1. Buy crypto with fiat

  2. Sell crypto for fiat

  3. Send crypto to anyone, anywhere

  4. Help friends, family, or students receive funds

  5. Share gifts or support loved ones easily
