How do I send money with Wello?
Tap the “Send” button on the home screen.
Select a recipient.
Choose the currency.
Enter the amount.
(Optional) Add a note.
Review fees and exchange rates on the confirmation page.
Confirm the transaction.
Can I send money directly to a bank account or only to a wallet?
You can send money to another Wello user, who can then withdraw it to their bank account. You may withdraw money on your Wello account to your own bank account.
Can I send money to someone that does not have a Wello account?
The recipient must have a Wello account to receive money. If they don’t have an account, please ask them to download the Wello app from the App Store (IOS) or Google Play (Android).
How long does it take to send money on Wello?
To send money to another account on Wello, transactions are typically completed in the matter of minutes.
Can I send from someone else’s bank account?
The name on the bank account, credit/debit card you’re sending from has to match the name you completed your identity verification with on Wello.
