As part of the Perform package, the WeThrive system has previously offered a Talent Snapshot section which allowed managers to review their employees on some hard-coded criteria within 1:1 meeting agendas. This was only available to the managers to complete, and not visible to employees.

Customers wanted to be able to customise the criteria they rated employees on, and use their own scoring systems, so we have implemented a brand new feature called Ratings.

Some more information on how Ratings work is below with screenshots of the new functionality. Answers to some questions about the feature are also available in the FAQ help guide linked here.

What are Ratings?

The ratings feature allows admins to create multiple sets of ratings - these don't just have to be related to performance. They could be anything e.g. values that the company wants employees to uphold, expected behaviours, competencies etc.

Different sets of ratings could be created for different groups of employees, or for different years, for different subjects etc.

The idea is that employees are then able to rate themselves against the criteria, the managers can rate their team members, and they can then both come to an agreed set of ratings to complete.

How does it work?

  1. Create a set of ratings as an admin user.

  2. Send this set of ratings to employees to complete a self-assessment - either on their own or as part of a larger performance review survey.

  3. The manager can rate the employee on the same set of criteria in their own account.

  4. Once both employee & manager have completed, they can see the other user's ratings (unless certain manager ratings have been hidden from the employee's view).

  5. The set of ratings can be added to 1:1 meeting agendas, where these can be discussed and a set of agreed ratings can be submitted.
