Update an employee's assigned team and re-sync to your survey so their results are included in the correct group.

You may find that an employee is appearing in the wrong team when you're viewing the results. Or there may have been a typo when staff were assigned to their groups.

For example, if one person is assigned to the Team 'Sale' and the rest of the team are listed under the name 'Sales', two separate teams will be created in the results - Sale and Sales.

That's why when you're uploading your people data, you will need to ensure all individuals in the same team are assigned to the same team name. This also applies to the other data segments e.g. Location, Department, Unit and Manager.

Good news is you can update the team names even when your survey has closed. Follow the steps below to update certain individuals team names:

A) First, assign the individual to the correct team

  1. Go to the People table.

  2. Find and click on the individual whose Team you need to change.

  3. A drop down box will appear under the Team heading. Select the right group from the list.

  4. Click Save.

B) Then sync your changes to your survey

  1. Go to Surveys using the main menu.

  2. Click on the 'i' icon (Status tab) against the survey you'd like to update.

  3. Click the orange 'Re-sync' button.

  4. A pop up message will ask if you're happy to proceed as doing this will update all of the employee details in the survey to match the data currently stored in the People table (so avoid re-syncing historic survey data).

  5. Click 'Re-sync'. Your results will now reflect the changes you have made to your groupings.
