You can set yourself personal or team development goals based on your personal or team survey results from a survey. To find out a bit more about goal setting click here.

Below we share some more detail about the actions that sit within your goals including:

What is an action?

When setting a goal, usually they are easier to achieve if you break up the goal into smaller actions. Each of these smaller actions/tasks make up the overall goal. Actions can be ticked off as they are completed, as you make more progress towards the overarching goal.

When viewing your team or individual recommendations for your lowest scoring areas on your results Dashboard, you will see an orange button "Create goal with the below actions".

This will then open up a new page where you can edit the goal name, description as well as editing each of the actions that you want to take to help you succeed in your goal.

Ticking off actions as complete

When viewing a goal you have created, you will see the list of actions that contribute to the goal and can mark the actions as 'In progress' when you are working on them, then 'Completed' when you have finished the task.

This helps you keep up to date on what tasks are still to be done before you have achieved your goal.

There is also a date assigned to the action, to help you stay on track and get your actions/goals completed on time.

How to view your actions

To view your actions as part of your goals, the best way to view these is to head to the Goals page in the main menu, where you can click through your different goals and view the set of actions within each.

But if you want to view a list of all of your actions, you can do so by hovering over Goals in the main menu, and selecting Actions from the drop down menu.

If you are a manager, you can choose to show actions by 'My actions', which will list actions assigned to you, or 'All actions' which will show any actions created by your employees.
