Schedule a 1:1 with an individual employee

  1. Go to Reviews > 1:1 Meetings > Set up an individual 1:1.

  2. Select a pre-defined Conversation type which automatically creates an agenda template, pulling in relevant talking points and results for the meeting. Or, select Custom to create your own agenda from scratch.

  3. You will then be prompted to enter the details for the 1:1 – title, description, the employee you are inviting, and the date and time of the 1:1.

  4. Click Save and you will be taken to the next page, where you can create/edit the agenda.

  5. At this point you can either begin to create the agenda (click here for more info), or click Back and return to this at a later time.

  6. If you are ready to schedule the 1:1, you can click Save and send invite at the bottom of the page. An email will be sent to the employee, with the manager cc'd to allow them both to add the invite to their calendar, and you can return to the agenda to continue editing this later.

Create 1:1s for multiple employees

If you need to create 1:1s for all of your team members, you can now do this in bulk. Click through the interactive demo above or click here and for instructions to set up multiple 1:1s.

Instead of setting a date/time for each meeting, you can set a Due Date to complete all of the 1:1s by.

You can add a date/time to each individual meeting at a later date and notify the employee.

If your employee requests a 1:1

If your employee requests a 1:1 from their own WeThrive login (if they have one), you will receive an email informing you to log into your WeThrive account to respond to this request.

  1. Go to Reviews > 1:1 Meetings.

  2. Here you will be able to see if any of your employees have requested a 1:1.

  3. You can either accept or decline the request. The employee will be notified either way.

  4. Once you have accepted the 1:1 request, click the Edit icon against the relevant 1:1 in your table, and you can begin to edit your meeting agenda.
