This month, we've released a new piece of functionality allowing you to change the overall owner of a particular goal.

Previously in WeThrive, administrators and managers could create a goal and assign the actions within it to another employee.

However, they weren't able to change the 'owner' of the entire goal, and the goal would display as still being assigned to the user who created it.

Now, you can allocate the actions within a goal to another user and make this user the overall owner of the goal.

The owner of the goal will then be updated within your 'Goals' listing page as shown below.

Why did we add this?

The purpose of this feature was:

  • To make it easier to track which managers and employees are in charge of particular goals.

  • Give admins better visibility over the ownership of goals.

  • So admins can now set goals on behalf of managers and employees, and ensure that those individuals take ownership of the entire goal.

How do you change the owner of a goal?

1. Click Goals in the main menu, and select Edit Goal against the goal you'd like to update.

2. Click Edit Goal.

3. Change the owner of the goal by typing the user's name into the Owner field.

4. Save your goal.

5. Goal owners will correctly display on your Goals page.
