When setting up 1:1 meetings, it can be difficult to know which questions you should be asking, and which data points from recent surveys, goals, or OKRs set up should be included.

What are conversation types?

The conversation types in WeThrive are designed to give you a head start. The conversation types are different templates that pull in survey results and other data points that are relevant to the type of meeting you are having with the employee.

Selecting a particular conversation type will automatically pull in certain talking points and data from WeThrive for the individual(s) you're creating an agenda for.

You can use these templates to set up an individual 1:1 meeting, or to set up multiple 1:1s at once.

Example: the 'Engagement' conversation template

Selecting the 'Engagement' template will pull in a set of talking points to use within the meeting such as:

  • How are you feeling about work overall right now?

  • Are there any areas you need additional support or resource to keep you productive?

The template also pulls in certain survey results from engagement surveys the employee has taken part in (if the surveys were anonymous, only team averages are shown), for example:

  • The 2 highest scoring engagement areas e.g. Skills and Team Co-operation

  • The 3 lowest scoring engagement areas e.g. Resources, Headspace and Free from Worry.

The template also pulls in:

  • Incomplete goals created in the last year

  • Complete goals created in the last 6 months

After selecting a conversation type - whether you're creating a single 1:1 agenda, or multiple 1:1s - you will be able to edit the agenda items, remove any items you don't want to include, and choose additional data points you'd like to include.
