Why it matters

Global search allows you to quickly move between different parts of Whippy—like Contacts, Conversations, Campaigns, and Sequences—without using your mouse. Keyboard shortcuts help you work faster and stay focused on your tasks.

Key Concepts

Global Search: A universal search bar in the top navigation that lets you search across contacts, messages, campaigns, and sequences.

Keyboard Shortcuts: Key combinations that let you perform actions quickly without clicking through menus.

Command + K: The main shortcut that opens the global search panel from anywhere in the app.

Step-by-Step: Use Global Search

  1. Open global search.

Press Command + K or click the search bar in the top navigation bar.

  2. Start typing a keyword.

You can search across contacts, messages, campaigns, and sequences.

  3. Use arrow keys to navigate results.

Press or to scroll through search options.

  4. Select a result.

Press Enter to open the selected item.

  5. Use Esc to close the global search window.
