Why it matters

Filtering by assigned user helps you stay organized and ensures accountability across your team. You can quickly find conversations assigned to you or identify unassigned messages that need attention.

Key Concepts

Assigned Conversations: Threads that have been allocated to a specific user for handling or follow-up.

Unassigned Conversations: Threads that have not yet been assigned to any user and require someone to take ownership.

Inbox: The central workspace where all conversations can be viewed, filtered, and managed.

Step-by-Step: Filter by Assigned User

  1. Go to your Inbox.

Click this link to open your Inbox directly.

  2. Click Assigned to Me in the left-hand menu.

This shows all conversations currently assigned to you.

  3. Click Unassigned in the left-hand menu.

This displays all conversations not yet assigned to any user.

  4. Select a conversation from the filtered list.

Open it to view details, respond, or assign it to a user.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Regularly check the Unassigned tab to ensure new messages are allocated promptly.

  • Reassign conversations as needed to maintain balanced workloads.

  • If a conversation appears under Assigned to Me, it means another user has delegated it to you.

  • Use assignment filters daily to track progress and avoid overlooked messages.
