Why it matters

Previewing your campaign helps you confirm that your message displays correctly across devices. It reduces the risk of sending messages with formatting errors, missing variables, or unclear copy. Reviewing the preview ensures a polished experience for your audience.

Key Concepts

Message preview: A visual rendering of your campaign message as it will appear to contacts.

Preview drawer: The side drawer that opens when you click View Message Preview, showing how the message displays on a device.

Message editor: The section where you compose your SMS, email, or WhatsApp campaign content before previewing.

Step-by-Step: Preview a Campaign Message

  1. Create a new campaign or open an existing one.

Start a new campaign or select an existing draft from your campaign list.

  2. Compose your campaign message.

Go to the Message section and write the content you plan to send.

  3. Open the message preview.

Click View message preview from the right-side drawer menu.

  4. Review the preview.

A preview window displays how the message will appear to recipients. Review the layout, text, variables, attachments, and overall presentation.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Check any message variables to ensure they are placed correctly.

  • Keep SMS and WhatsApp content concise so the preview reflects a clean, readable layout.

  • For email campaigns, review the subject line and sender details as they also influence how the message appears.

  • Make edits in the Message section, then preview again to confirm changes.
