What is WHYZER and how does it work?
WHYZER is an AI-powered account research and deal intelligence platform built specifically for B2B sellers. It helps sales professionals prepare more strategically, reach executives faster, and build stronger points of view by surfacing insights from company filings, earnings calls, industry news, and other relevant data sources in a structured, usable format.
As of March 2026, WHYZER supports private and public companies globally. For private companies and non-U.S. public companies, WHYZER uses a mix of sources to surface estimated revenue, company intelligence, strategic priorities, current initiatives, stakeholder information, and other signals relevant to sellers.
Once a user searches for a company, WHYZER aggregates and analyzes relevant information to help the seller understand the account’s business reality. It then uses seller-oriented prompting and configuration inputs to extract insights tied to likely business pain points, strategic priorities, and opportunity angles, presenting them in formats such as POVs, Dossiers, Deal Maps, chat-assisted outputs, and podcasts.
How is WHYZER different from ChatGPT or other account research tools?
WHYZER is purpose-built for B2B sellers rather than general-purpose AI users, financial analysts, or broad research workflows. It is designed around seller workflows and uses prompts and structures intended to turn complex company information into usable points of view, outreach support, and meeting preparation assets.
Unlike a general model such as ChatGPT, WHYZER is not just answering questions about a company. It is designed to help users move from research into account strategy, POV generation, outreach preparation, and executive-level conversation planning.
How is WHYZER different from other tools?
WHYZER is a seller-focused research and POV platform rather than a pure financial analysis tool. It goes beyond raw-source research by organizing information into seller-friendly outputs such as Dossiers, POVs, Deal Maps, podcasts, stakeholder views, headcount analysis, strategic priorities, current projects, and company intelligence.
Does WHYZER replace or complement EDGAR and FinChat?
WHYZER is best understood as a complement to tools like EDGAR and FinChat rather than a direct replacement. EDGAR provides raw-source company disclosures, and FinChat is more closely aligned with analyst-style workflows. WHYZER applies a seller-centric lens to account research and turns company intelligence into outputs that support prospecting, deal strategy, and executive conversations.
How does WHYZER work?
WHYZER starts with a target company and, in many workflows, a product or solution context. From there, it assembles research into seller-friendly outputs.
Users can generate POVs tailored to a specific company and solution, use Dossiers for deeper company context, explore Deal Maps to visualize themes and stakeholders, use WHYZER Chat to summarize and draft in context, and generate podcasts that summarize a company’s current situation and strategic context.
Does WHYZER use my company details to tailor email campaigns for my prospect?
Not fully yet. WHYZER can help generate outreach drafts and email campaigns, but fully personalized email generation based on your company context and POV context is still evolving. Current materials suggest this remains an area of active improvement.
Important note on current plans
Some WHYZER features now operate with monthly usage limits depending on your plan. Premium and Elite include different monthly allowances for Dossiers, Company adds, and Podcasts.
