We have developed a comprehensive algorithm in our system that analyzes activity within the WiFi Map community and calculates Wi-Fi health score and User’s reputation.
We believe that Wi-Fi Health would help people navigate to the most reliable hotspot with highest probability of getting connected. Also it’s a great tool that helps contributors visually distinguish which hotspots should be verified and “healed”.
The Wi-Fi Health score combines a lot of metrics such as last signal and last connection time, number of unique connections, frequency of connections, Wi-Fi speed, signal range, correct login credentials, reputation of the user who added this Wi-Fi, etc.
